We meet every Tuesday at 3:15 in Gaige 121 to discuss current events in technology and give presentations on projects we're working on.
We have an active Discord community where students can discuss technology, ask questions, and socialize with other members of the club. We also have a github organization which makes it easy for students to collaborate.
The club leadership works hard to book speakers that will present interesting concepts, and prepare students for a career in technology. We also attend events held by other orginizations.
In the 2016 Fall semester, the Berks Tech Club was founded by a small group of IST students. In the time since, the club has taken an active role on campus and in the community by hosting technology workshops and partnering with other clubs to host fundraising events.
Our club aspires to provide an area for students to learn new technology, build team skills, and expand their technical skills by working on projects and hosting guest speakers. We would love to see more attendance at weekly meetings and our events, and plan to inspire students to pursue their passions in technology.
The club aims to increase our volume of speakers on topics that pertain to our field of study, and our executive members are open to suggestion.
We would appreciate all who would come share their experiences in the IT and software development fields as well as past or present projects that would enhance our knowledge. Please send us an email.
We use discord to discuss various topics regarding technology, in addition to projects we're working on and things going on around campus
Shoot us an email if you have want to talk to our leadership. We're always looking for volunteer opportunities and speakers.
We host code for projects we're working on using github. We created an organization that club members can join to make collaborating easier.
